Shipping & Handling Charges

Estimating shipping charges is a very difficult value to determine. As such, we calculate shipping charges based upon certain percentages. A 10% shipping and handling charge will be added to all domestic orders with a $10.50 minimum. Additional delivery charges levied by UPS (or any carrier) will also be added directly. UPS charges $2.75 extra for over 22,000 rural US zip codes. Non-US or Foreign orders will be estimated at a 25% rate due to excessive shipping & handling fees, etc.. The calculated charges may not reflect the actual shipping and handling charges you are charged. We will not knowingly overcharge for shipping and handling but you agree that you are responsible for and agree to pay the real shipping and handling charges required to deliver your order. Additional shipping charges will apply to large or heavy items. If you want to know what the exact S&H charges will be you must specifically request that in the instructions box when you place your order. Items too large to ship via UPS will be shipped by motor freight. These shipments will be charged a packing/crating fee and will be shipped freight collect. Refused shipments will be subject to a restocking fee plus motor freight charges. (All Air Shipments, Blue Label, Next Day, etc. are additional.) Beyong the minimum, We will not knowingly overcharge you for shipping and handling. You are responsible for all shipping and handling charges regardless if the estimated charge on your online order is not accurate. It is impossible to calculate the actual shipping charges until your package is packed and weighed. You are responsible for these charges. Should you wish to pre-approve your shipping charges, you must specifically request same.

Pricing

All prices stated herein reflect a cash discount. CARS, Inc. reserves the right to remove this discount if not paid in cash. Certain items listed are on consignment and as such the only payment acceptable will be cash, check or money order.

Means of Payment

We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard & Discover.  All orders are payable in $USD only. We welcome Personal Checks. Your personal check will NOT be held for bank clearing. Foreign orders may be subject to additional processing fees for duties, taxes, etc.

Damages in Shipment

Damage in transit is the responsibility of the delivering carrier.  Retain allpacking materials and immediately contact the carrier to file your claim.  Do not return damaged items to CARS, Inc. as further shipping will possibly result in the loss of a claim settlement.

Guarantee - Returns

Your satisfaction is very important to us.  If you are not satisfied with an item please contact us, tell us why and obtain a return authorization number.  CARS, Inc will not accept any returned merchandise without a proper RMA number. We will accept returns on items within 30 days of the sale provided it is in unused condition and is returned PREPAID with a copy of the orginal invoice and the approved RMA number printed on the outside of the returned parcel.  Parts ordered and returned through no fault of CARS, Inc. will be subject to a restocking charge.  Custom made or special order items items such as yard goods, carpets, etc., electrical items, and used parts are not returnable except for exchange for the exact product due to a factory defect only. Carpet sets are not returnable. Labor charges are not refundable. Returns may affect discount and shipping programs, if applicable. Shipping, handlng and insurance are not refundable under any circumstances

NOS, NORS and USED Parts

CARS, Inc. has a huge inventory of New Old Stock (NOS), New Old Replacement Stock (NORS) and USED items.
Because an item is classified NOS or NORS, it does not guarantee that this is in new or perfect condition. Please remember these items have be in a warehouse for several decades and may have blemishes due to shelf wear, surface rust, etc. Should you wish to have a better physical description of any particular part, please call us at (908) 369-3666 and request that a part be pulled for inspection.

USED parts are not returnable.
